So, I've decided to make a BLOG for my friends, customers, potential customers and potential team members.
I thought it appropriate to begin with WHY I chose to become an Avon Representative.
Over 2015/16, my husband was unemployed for 5 months. I worked as much as I could at Bunnings and even got a second job over Christmas due to my casual status not being able to secure enough shifts. Once hubby began working again, he, like a lot of people in our economy at the moment, was earning less and his job was (and still is) not secure. This lead me to looking at "simple" ways I might be able to earn money from home to support the income we were getting. What I stumbled into became much more than that!
I saw a little Facebook ad one night - it was about becoming an Avon Rep. I clicked the link, read a bit about what was involved in becoming a Rep and decided to sign up for someone to contact me. Why Avon? Well, I figured, its a well-known brand that I wouldn't have to try to SELL to people. I would just see if I could find any friends or acquaintances that already liked the products and go from there. Plus, it was FREE to sign up and completely commitment free with no strings attached! What did I have to lose?
I have to admit, if my upline had not turned up on my doorstep the day after my enquiry, I may have just fobbed off the idea of becoming a rep, but she and another leader came to my door when I missed their call, just to see if they could help sign me up. As i mentioned above, there was no risk involved, so I agreed there and then on the spot.
I admit, to this date, I have not earned much money - but I have had SO much fun! It hasn't cost me anything - but I keep spending my earnings on products for myself and samples for my customers! I am quite well set up with samples now, and I am TRYING to curb my purchasing habits - but with the discounts I get, it's really hard to not justify another purchase each order!

I was not using ANY Avon Products when I signed up to become a Rep. I just knew they had a good name and I had used some in the past when my Mum had bought them years ago. Once I became a rep, my eyes were opened to SO many bargains that Avon offer and the vast selection of products that they offer is amazing. I have bumped into so many people that have said "Oh, I used to be an Avon Rep! You get so much free stuff!" I can attest to that! I have received all of the items in the above image.
I feel like I've gotten into the market at a great time. I did not know anyone selling Avon, so for my immediate network of friends, I was the ONLY person selling Avon and have had a great response! I have got MOST of my sales through my Facebook group. I have also got customers through my son's kindy, mothers group, my work (left my stuff in the Bunnings tea room!), my Mum's work, friends of friends, and I have begun a bit of a neighbourhood drop-off of brochures too. It has be really fun! And really amazing how simple it has been to get and keep customers - once they have a taste for the bargains, they come back for more without much "selling" required on my part.
Thank you to my beautiful customers! I have had so much fun having an excuse to visit those of my existing friends that have become my customers, and I have LOVED making new friends with the new customers I have acquired one way or another.
